For the Read-A-Thon, students are encouraged to set a reading goal, log the minutes they read outside of school, and seek monetary pledges to support their goal. 

Students have the chance to win prizes based on the number of minutes they read and pledge dollars collected, as well as a donut party for the classrooms that cumulatively read the most! 100% of the money raised by the Read-A-Thon goes toward activities and initiatives led by DHES PTC! (Students are welcome to participate in the reading or fundraising portions of the Read-A-Thon, both, or neither - All are optional.)
